In this age of technology and information, healthcare can paradoxically feel heartless and impersonal. The gauntlet of diagnosis codes, tests, pharmaceuticals, and procedures often obscures the actual people behind them. Yet behind every diagnosis, every test, and every prescription is a person and a story. Everyone has experienced something, whether it is pain, illness, injury, or disease. Every experience can teach us something.
From this premise emerged the Every Body podcast, a platform I host to interview individuals about their health journeys and the insights they’ve gained. Guests share their challenges and triumphs, spiritual struggles and growth, and the wisdom from their lived experience. These conversations have helped me, both as a Nurse Practitioner and an educator, stay connected to the humanity at the heart of healthcare.
